[edit] amsn violating EU patents?

That's what it site says. For the moment, its site is closed down because it violates EU Software patents. So sad. -- Natalinasmpf 23:19, 23 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Back up. Now with an "enter" page talking about software patents --2mcm 08:08, 1 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Specific Wording makes it sound like Advertising

"aMSN is not only available for Linux, but it is also available for any UNIX variant, Macintosh and Windows, as well as any other platform where Tcl/Tk 8.4 or higher is supported.", sounds a bit like advertising to me. Don't have the time at the moment, but will clean it up in the next couple of daysJohnstonDJ 14:35, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] aMSN running on KDE/Baghira under Gentoo Linux

Snapshot shown is aMSN running on OS X, not Linux. Adjusted.

[edit] Release Date

Correct me if I'm wrong but is aMSN messenger first released before May 2006? --Ahmed 19:35, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Grammar

"aMSN is an MSN Messenger clone licensed under the GPL. Its main objective is to assist users who are new to the Linux operating system keep in contact with those who use the Microsoft program which is available only on Windows and Macintosh." This section doesn't make grammatical sense. Valeriya 02:20, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
