From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Amr Adib (also spelled Adeeb) (Arabic: عمرو أديب) is an Egyptian television presenter and interviewer. He is known for being a media personality with flair, intelligence, and integrity, as well as a sense of humour. Adeeb has an uncanny insight into what interests his audience, however diverse it may be.although sometimes he gets out of control especialy in subjects regarding taboos in egypt(e.g:- sex...)

He currently presents Al Qahira Al Yawm, a popular live television show (in Arabic) from Cairo, which airs on the Al Yawm channel which is part of the Orbit Satellite and Television Network. The show is watched all over the Middle East, and Europe, even reaching as far as Australia and the US.

Amr Adeeb shows a tolerant attitude towards christians in Egypt (called Copts), however he can not hide his biased opinions when it comes to the part when he interviews sheikh Khaled El-Guindi, one of the new Muslims leaders in Egypt and middle east these days.
