Amqa (Arabic: عمقا; Hebrew: עַמְקָה, ʻAmqa) is a village (moshav) in the Northern District of Israel, near Acre. It was founded in 1949 by a group of Yemenite Jewish immigrants. The name comes from an Arab village that was in the same spot earlier (see below).
'Amqa may also refer to an Arab village that was depopulated in the 1948 Arab-Israeli War called Al-'Amqa. Its population was 1,240 in 1945.
