Amplifolia (elm cultivar)

The Smooth-leaved Elm U. minor subsp. minor cultivar Amplifolia was first described (as U. foliacaea var. amplifolia) in Meded. Comite Best. Bestr. Iepenz. 10: 9 1932. Grown at Hesse's Nurseries, Weener, Germany, it was said to have very short internodes with crowded leaves.
