Pua (Thai: ปัว) is a district (Amphoe) in the central part of Nan Province, northern Thailand.

Neighboring are from the north clockwise Chiang Klang, Thung Chang, Chaloem Phra Kiat, Bo Kluea, Santi Suk and Tha Wang Pha.

Doi Phu Kha National Park is Thailands largest National Park, covering several districts of Nan Province. The national park office as well as the 1,980 m high Doi Phu Kha itself are located within Phua district.

The district is subdivided into 12 communes (tambon), which are further subdivided into 104 villages (muban). The township (thesaban tambon) Pua covers the whole tambon Pua and partd of the tambon Chai Watthana and Won Nakhon. There are further 11 Tambon administrative organizations (TAO).
