Phibun Rak (Thai: พิบูลย์รักษ์) is a district (Amphoe) in the central part of Udon Thani Province, northeastern Thailand.

Neighboring districts are (from the north clockwise) Nong Han, Chai Wan, Si That, Kumphawapi and Prachaksinlapakhom.

The district was established in the early 1990s by splitting it from Nong Han district.

The district is subdivided into 3 communes (tambon), which are further subdivided into 37 villages (muban). There are no municipal (thesaban) areas, and 3 Tambon administrative organizations (TAO).
