Nong Ya Sai (Thai: หนองหญ้าไซ) is a district (Amphoe) in the western part of Suphanburi Province, central Thailand.

The area of the district was separated from Sam Chuk district and made a minor district (King Amphoe) in 1983. It was officially upgraded to a full district in 1990.

Neighboring districts are (from the north clockwise) Dan Chang, Doem Bang Nang Buat, Sam Chuk and Don Chedi of Suphanburi Province, and Lao Khwan of Kanchanaburi Province

The district is subdivided into 6 communes (tambon). Nong Ya Sai is also a township (thesaban tambon), which covers parts of the tambon Nong Ya Sai.
