Aluf (Major General) Amos Yadlin (b. 1951) was a general in the Israeli Air Force and is currently the head of Aman (IDF) (military intelligence). Before being promoted to head of Aman, Yadlin was the IDF military attaché to Washington. Previously in his career he headed the IDF National Defense College. Yadlin was also an officer in the Israeli Air Force, participating in Operation Opera which destroyed the Iraqi nuclear reactor, and served as Deputy Commander of the IDF.
