Amon Obel
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In the novels of J. R. R. Tolkien, Amon Obel is the name of a fictional hill around which the Forest of Brethil spread. Most of the Woodmen of Brethil dwell there in the later First Age, within the stockade known as Ephel Brandir.
Amon Obel is Sindarin for "Fortified Hill" (derived from amon = "hill" and gobel = "walled settlement").
