[edit] Commitment to non-Vandalism

As of 6th January 2007, every wikipedia article I see shall face restoration and editing if any vandalism is found, we can't leave it all to the bots and the Admins who sometimes miss the serious vandalisms and fighting vandalism elsewhere. I am just topping-up my previous commitments for 2006.

[edit] Have a good 2007 on Wikipedia

Wishing everyone a happy new year on Wikipedia (Just in case I am not here on New Years). More information on 2007.

[edit] Wikipedia in the NEWS

Apparently in 2006 people with no user-names will not be able to use Wikipedia, I find this a shame really. But then if there is an increased use of Vandalism on Wikipedia, then I hope that people with User Names will see more benefit in Wikipedia than before. Also, it will be easier to find the vandals and people who are using this project to attack people in a slanderous way.

Actually, anons will still be able to edit, they will just not be able to create new pages. We are also looking into heightened protection for a handful of the most frequently vandalised pages. BD2412 T 22:40, 12 December 2005 (UTC)

Well, I think that due to the amount of vandalism I have seen on here in my recent web travels, I noticed how easy it is to vandalise Wikipedia, and it is a pity, it's a good project.

[edit] Who wrote this?

"Since the passing of the Government of Wales Act 2006 the Queen is no longer just linked to Wales as Queen of the UK. She is becoming the legal entity 'Her Majesty in Right of Wales' which means there will be Welsh laws (as opposed to UK laws that apply to Wales)for the first time in centuries and she will legally be a specifically Welsh head of state as well as being the British one. This already is true of Northern Ireland and Scotland and the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands. Interestingly England does not have this status and will continue to be goverened by UK laws that are limited to England." in the Wales articles discussion page, you did not leave your tag and what you had said is in direct interest to me!

[edit] Celticism

I strongly believe that Celticism is not just our languages, but we feel that our peoples are of Celtic origin. The article on

here does not support this, but this is the truth!

[edit] .cym - Interesting

I am interested in this .cym top level domain campaign, I read (BBC) that the Welsh Assembly is now supporting it after a vote, I am assuming this .cym domain shall be in operation "hopefully" in 2007.

[edit] Contemporary Welsh Law

I wanted to say that I intend to support this article once it has been created by Drachenfyre. Drachenfyre and I have agreed to create a Contemporary Welsh Law article which shall contain information about the new powers for the National Assembly. It will not contain individual Measures because thats for the article Measures of the National Assembly for Wales. This article is like a description of that law and once it's in operation, the article will contain how it works and how it is used and what clear differences there are between this law and the other laws of the U.K.

I should have it up within two days, with much work tonight on it. I was distracted by a move. I am still excited by the artical. Drachenfyre 21:38, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

Yes, I would very much like for you to stick around for the law artical. Even if it means taking a short break in the mean time, which I too do also, hehe. I would miss your imput. Drachenfyre 21:59, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Wales Smoking Ban

As of April 2nd 2007, the Welsh law banning Smoking in public places will be in force. Amlder20 as of 18th March 2007 declares support for the move and thinks that the Welsh atmosphere will be a lot cleaner. As for the case of people leaving Wales to smoke in England is plainly pathetic. The English ban, which will also be supported, will come in around early July 2007. Hopefully it will create a healthier nation for us all to live in, whether it is Wales, or the U.K.]]
