[edit] Monifieth High School
I have to confess rather shame-facedly that I didn't check the edit history on that particular occasion. Still, the article's on my watch list now, just in case it leads to any comeback. (See Burnham Grammar School...) Loganberry (Talk) 12:21, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Hi
You've gotta admit though dude, she IS a crackwhore 58.160.157.30 11:50, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
- Whatever she may be, it is no justification for vandalising the picture. amitch 00:59, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Jamie O'Neill
Amitch: I'm new to editing the site. Where can I contribute to conversation without editing pages, sir? I'm curious. It's quite unfortunate, mate, that I have to jump through hoops to express my admiration for a literary genius. Do you understand that? Yes, this is encyclopedic, and it must be 'empirical', right? But maybe some people should jump off their high-horses and be real humans. Wikipedia is an eternal first draft. You can never make it concise or authoritative. Please, get over it. While you're busy reverting obscure pages, you could be out and about with your numerous mates near Sydney. It's absurd to be stuck in this postmodern escapist retreat known as the Internet. This isn't the Englightenment, you can't create a truly free and truly authoritative encyclopedia all at once. Why the sour grapes? I'm sure this will reverted as soon as possible, but you yourself will remember it. Also, don't forget about Sarah. (This unsigned comment was added on 21:33, 17 November 2006 by user 68.43.89.134).

- Edit: Thanks for the timely response, Amitch. Much appreciated. I have contributed several 'meaningful' edits to Wikipedia, especially in the sense that many of the articles have awful spelling and grammar. Also, many of the articles lack proper sources and unfortunately cannot be used for scholarly works. Some day, perhaps, the site WILL be accepted as a true encyclopedia. For the time being, I will treat it as a referral source to real information. Thank you again for your timely response. It will be duly noted, indeed.

[edit] Don't Remove any portraits from articles
You have committed a vandalism by removing the portrait of the Shu Jia Imperial Noble Consort without providing any reasons. Please stop doing so. Highshines 07:36, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Genmay
Why is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genmay deleted?
- Looks like it was deleted for being nonsense. You can check the log page to see more. amitch 08:26, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
- I believe that admin is abusing his admin powers. Hold on let me get you a mirror of what is suppose to be on that page.
- If that's nonsense I don't see why gamesfaqs, and something awful forums should stay on wiki.
- I don't think I was involved in anything to do with this article. Why not try contacting one of the admins who was? amitch 08:31, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Who can get to the vandals first?
You're fast. I keep running into you. Good job. =) —Lantoka ( talk | contrib) 11:45, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks. Some of it is just chasing down repeat offenders and the rest comes through VP. I am a fan of your work too... amitch 23:40, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism?
I wasn't vandalising the article Dwight Howard. I was merely adding a scouting report on his strengths and weaknesses as a player. What gives?

[edit] Page blanking
Hi, do you mind explaining this edit? JDtalk 11:45, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
- Just a mistake on my part. Subsequent to this, the user who put the comments left a message on my home page suggesting copyvio. There is also mention of this on the talk page. I have removed the text and put a note on the talk page pending resolution. amitch 11:55, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The Mercury
Are you suggesting the Hobart Mercury is not a rag? This has been empirically proven by the quality of the newspaper over the past 150 years... (This unsigned comment was left by User:220.245.135.240 at 20:22, 26 November 2006).
[edit] Thanks for the revert
Thank you for the revert in the Utopia Temple article almost a week ago. Some people sure do seem quite immature online. Starfriend 18:31, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
- No problem. The article has been nominated for deletion since my change and is going to need some help to survive...amitch (talk) 23:07, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Mertonville Hotel, Balmain
I have placed a speedy delete request on the above article. If you intend to add to the article please comment on the talk page.LessHeard vanU 01:12, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Mertonville Hotel, Balmain, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. —Pilotguy (ptt) 02:19, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Confused
I keep getting this message that my dial-up's IP address inserted some form of vandalism to the First Church of Satan or something. Since I am on dial-up, who knows who else connected via Yahoo!'s AT&T/SBC Global's access numbers in the Pahrump, NV, area, which is a heavily Christian-Republican region of the State of Nevada. If somebody else who has used the SBC Global service in the are did the vandalism, go seek them, but not me. I don't have any control over SBC Global's assignment of IP address per computer that connects.
