[edit] Cleanup

I've tagged this article because I think we need to link the references at the end of this page as citations within the text, so that it is clear where the information is coming from. Also, the references section could be cleaned up as it's currently taking up half the page and there's a ridiculous amount of stubs near the bottom. Perhaps more information could be added about him so that it could be better separated into sections like "Early Years", "Research", "Theories" or w/e. -- itistoday (Talk) 02:27, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

itstoday, what you say makes sense. regarding the quotation, i do not know its source in english literature. just have german quotes and their sources available. he states this quote re consciousness very often. it's a basic of his teaching. i am not familiar with the procedures of wikiquote, its a fine idea. i would not remove this unsourced quotation, just add 'citation needed' - this invites others to fill in. and to add a few more quotes. then it makes sense to stride to wikiquote eventually. rgds --Grazia11 03:46, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
Grazia11, Wow! I'm very impressed with the quality of your changes, the article looks great now! And I like the new quotes section too. Great job! :-) -- itistoday (Talk) 23:57, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Literary

"Goswami is the author of ten books, including a well regarded and used university textbook on quantum mechanics"

And what book is that? A text book? A phone book? A check book?

Well reagarded by whom? Lawyers? Professors? Leprechauns? Nazis?

Perhaps I was confused but I was under the impression that an encyclopedia was supposed to inform. Perhaps tis article should be edited to be more consistant and say for example:

"Goswami was born in a particular year and went to a certain university and obtained a type of degree in a well known field."

Well, it is more mystical this way after all —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 151.202.8.69 (talk) 07:44, 27 January 2007 (UTC).
