Amit Yoran

Amit Yoran was the National Cyber Security Division director within the United States Department of Homeland Security.
He took up the post in September 2003 and resigned in October 2004.
He currently serves on the Board of Advisors of the Insitute for International Law and Politics at Georgetown University.
As of March, 2007, he is the head of a new startup, NetWitness Corp., which also employs Shawn Carpenter, a computer counter-intelligence specialist and Sandia National Laboratories whistleblower [1].
Yoran is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and has a Master's degree in computer science from the George Washington University.
