Amisha Patel (born June 9, 1976, also spelled Ameesha Patel) is a Bollywood actress and model from Gujarat, India.

Amisha Patel is the daughter of Amit and Asha Patel and the sister of Ashmit Patel. For her undergraduate studies, she attended and graduated from Tufts University, in Medford, Massachusetts.She was famous for going to the school without a bra. After graduation, she worked for a financial company[1], with modeling on the side. However, she eventually joined Satyadev Dubey's theatre group and began acting in plays. [2] In 2000, she appeared in her first movie, Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, as Sonia, opposite Hrithik Roshan, (son of producer and director Rakesh Roshan.)
