Aminah bint Wahhab

Aminah bint Wahab (Arabic: آمنة بنت وهبtransliteration: ʼĀminah bint Wahab)(???-577) was the mother of Muhammad, the prophet of Islam.

She was a member of the Banu Zuhrah clan.[1]

She was the daughter of Wahab ibn Abd al-Manaf, and was married to Abdallah ibn Abd al-Muttalib. There are also texts which claim that Aminah bint Wahab died in a trip to Yathrib while she took Muhammad to meet his uncles and to see the grave of his father. Aminah died in 577.
