What is this Clear Channel banned list we hear about in this article, and why is it relevant to the concert? Isomorphic 07:05, 1 Apr 2004 (UTC)

Clear Channel Communications has an explanation of the banned song list which they created subsequent to the 9/11 attacks. --Bluejay Young 02:50, 22 Apr 2004 (UTC)

According to the discussion at Talk:List of songs deemed inappropriate after Sept. 11 by Clear Channel the songs weren't banned, but discouraged. DJ's still played many of them without penalty. Perhaps the wording should be changed here. -R. fiend 16:35, 22 May 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Since we DON'T live in the Max Headroom world...

As I originally encountered it, the article said that the concert was arranged "after the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon by the four major United States television networks". This implies that the networks planned and executed the attack. Instead I've moved that reference to after "organized", making clear (I hope) that the concert was a product of American TV rather than the attacks being so.
