[edit] Categories?

I'm not sure whether the individual programs listed individually in the "category" section should be there or whether they should fall in subcategory.

I would propose that the categories be revised to include perhaps "Comedy," "Drama", "Variety," "News/Talk," "Music", "Quiz/Audience Participation," and "Children's/Family," as well as any others that might be proposed. For instance, I think "Drama" might easily be broken into "Mystery," "Science Fiction," "Adventure," and perhaps others. I would welcome any input any of you might have.Badbilltucker 14:01, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

Would it be better to separate things from the 1920s -> 1950s? Like Category:Classic radio dramas, Category:Classic radio comedies, etc? But I guess there haven't really been many comedies, etc since 1962 in the US at least. Wonder if there's a Radio program wikiproject? Jolomo 04:46, 17 May 2006 (UTC)

I don't believe that there is a radio wikiproject. Unfortunately. And, while your suggestion of separating old vs. new is good, I think many of the newer shows which might be added now or later, like CBS Radio Mystery Theater, and others like Cape Cod Radio Mystery Theater and Imagination Theater, would probably fall in the same categories as well. A sports radio category exsists, but many are also in this category.Revolutionfan 02:52, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

What about a comedy subcategory? Bob and Tom and a few others would work perfectly. Aaрон Кинни (t)

Added several categories (talk, music, variety, sports, comedy, religion) and began moving articles to them Mapcat 07:15, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
