American Society for Mass Spectrometry

The American Society for Mass Spectrometry (ASMS) was formed in 1969 to promote and disseminate knowledge of mass spectrometry and allied topics. Membership includes over 5,500 scientists (mainly US, with many from other countries) involved in research and development.

The Society holds annual meetings in end of May or beginning of June in various North American cities. Current meeting attendance reached 6000.
