American Reprographics Company (NYSE: ARP) is the largest reprographics company in the United States, providing business-to-business document management services to the architectural, engineering and construction industry, or AEC industry. It also provides these services to companies in non-AEC industries that require sophisticated document management services. The company provides its core services through a proprietary suite of reprographics technology products, a nationwide network of locally-branded reprographics service centers, and facilities management programs at customers' locations throughout the country.

Founded in 1988 as a single reprographics firm in Southern California by then President Sathy Chandramohan, now Chief Executice Officer, the company has grown into a national corporation with revenues in excess of $420 million. The company maintains close ties with Sri Lanka.

Corporate headquarters are co-located in Glendale, California and Walnut Creek, California.

The company, with 50-plus divisions, and 3,700-plus employees, serves more than 100,000 customers nationwide. ARC continues to grow with more acquisitions each year.

On February 3, 2005, ARC announced pricing of its initial public offering of 13,350,000 shares of common stock at $13.00 per share for gross proceeds of $173,550,000.

The technology development wing of American Reprographics Company is Mirror Plus Technologies based in Freemont, CA (http://mirrorplus.com/). This part of ARC has been commissioned to develop software and hardware solutions for digital service bureaus owned by ARC, clients of ARC companies, as well as non-ARC owned digital service bureau companies. ARC has licensed several of their proprietary software solutions to non-ARC owned service bureaus.

Some of the technology solutions created by Mirror Plus Technologies include products called PlanWell, BidCaster, Metaprint, Sub-Hub and Abacus to name a few. Primarily these software and web based solutions are aimed at solving problems faced by the reprographic and construction industries with regard to sharing, transferring and managing both printed and digital data used in the process of construction building.
