Ameena Badawi was a fictional character in the popular BBC soap opera EastEnders. She was played by Shobna Gulati.

Ameena was Sonia Jackson's social worker when Sonia gave birth to baby Chloe in 2000, aged just 15. Ameena tried to persuade Sonia that it would be best to try and bond with her baby. She also thought it would be best for Sonia to tell her mother, Carol that she now had a baby.

Ameena was promoted, and Sonia's case was taken over by Diane Irving.
