Amduscia is an electronic body music band consisting of three members, Marco Polo (vocal, lyrics, sampling), Edgard (synth programming, sampling, mixing) and Raul (keyboard and sampling), and was founded in 1999 in Mexico City. The group's name is derived from demon Amdukias in medieval demonology. Their music has been described as aggrotech and they have cited influences from "dark ethereal, dark wave, gothic, cyberpunk, old ebm school [sic], to newest or more recent beats such as synth pop, future pop, etc". They have also been compared to Hocico and Cenobita at their early releases, but by fusing the darker style with contemporary Trance music aproach led them to a style of their own and to gather a growing fanbase on Mexico and Europe, mostly in Germany, lining in festivals such as Wave Gotik Treffen, M'era Luna Festival and a shared european tour with CombiChrist
