That's right, the map is incorrect, the dot should be in the northeastern part of bavaria.
Amberg is a wonderfully authentic German town. It's old town is full of tiny historic squares, historic buildings, outdoor cafes, and an intact medieval wall and moat. Cafe Zentral is in the town center and is always packed for breakfast, dinner, and a good night out.
