Talk:Amber Amundson
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is an encyclopaedic article. You cannot put statements such as:
This article formerly contained a link to anti-war activist and Peaceful Tomorrows adivisor Kathy Kelly. According to Wikipedia, this three-time nobel peace prize nominee does not exist.
Your comment is now recorded here on the talk page where individual's comments belong. I don't know the history of why the article was deleted, but according to the deletion log, it wasn't because she didn't exist. The log says:
- 15:11, 23 August 2006 Centrx (Talk | contribs) deleted "Kathy Kelly" (Re-created copyvio)
- 18:01, 28 July 2006 Centrx (Talk | contribs) deleted "Kathy Kelly" (content was: '{{copyvio | url=http://vitw.org/archives/424}}')
- 17:03, 5 August 2005 Jimfbleak (Talk | contribs) deleted "Kathy Kelly" (content was: 'Activist - founder of Voices in the Wilderness' (and the only contributor was '24.14.58.143'))
So the first time it was deleted because it contained no content, and the second and third time becuase it was a violation of copyright - apparently it was just copied from another website. It has been protected against recreation because the article was recreated twice without complying with Wikipedia policy. If you feel strongly about the issue, read the criteria for speedy deletion to see why it didn't comply with the official policy, and write an article that does comply on the talkpage. You can then request the creation of the page on Deletion review. Cheers JenLouise 06:54, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
