[edit] Amboli
Amboli is the Famous hill station in south Maharashatra.
[edit] Nearest City
Amboli at an altitude of 690 m. is the last mountain resort before the coastal highlands of Goa and a relatively unexplored one. Perhaps the distance from Mumbai & Pune and the proximity to Goa has left this glorious jewel of Maharashtra high and wet.
EcoMantra organises jungle camping in the Amboli, that falls in the western ghats biosphere.
