I guess I fall there somewhere or at least I'd like to... I'm a corporate partner at Corrs Chambers Westgarth which I joined in 1985.

Between 1989 and 1991 I worked in New York with Haythe & Curley where I practiced extensively in mergers and acquisitions and securities offerings. Then I went back to Corrs.

In October 1998 I left Corrs to take up an appointment as the Chief of Staff and Senior Adviser to the Hon. Joe Hockey MP, the then Minister for Financial Services & Regulation (1998-2001).

In December 2001, you guessed it, I returned to Corrs, what's the line, to paraphrase Al Pacino's Michael Corleone Godfather III/Sopranos Just when you think you're out, they drag you back in.

I'm a member of the [[Takeovers Panel]and an Adjunct Facility member of The University of Sydney Faculty of Law. I'm also a part-time Member and Audit Committee Chairman of the Australian Reinsurance Pool Corporation.

I love to travel to far-away and wonderful places and recent adventures include 6 weeks in Argentina, 2 weeks in Bhutan.
