Altrincham railway station serves the town of Altrincham in Greater Manchester. The station also serves as the terminus of the Metrolink from Manchester city centre. The station is in Metrolink Ticketing Zone G.
The station has 4 platforms - 2 through platforms for the Northern Rail mainline sevices to Manchester Piccadilly and Chester and two bay platforms for the Metrolink services, although only one of these is regularly used.
