Alto Reed (born Thomas Neal Cartmell in Detroit, Michigan) is the long-time saxophonist with Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band. His most recognizable performances include the soulful introduction to "Turn the Page" (listen (helpยทinfo)) and the saxophone solo in "Old Time Rock & Roll".
