Alternative Comics (publisher)

Alternative Comics is a comics publisher located in Gainesville, Florida.
It is operated by attorney Jeff Mason and is noted for having cartoonists such as Graham Annable, Gabrielle Bell, Nick Bertozzi, Rebecca Dart, Brandon Graham, Asaf Hanuka, Tomer Hanuka, Tom Hart, Dean Haspiel, Sam Henderson, Damon Hurd, K. Thor Jensen, James Kochalka, David Lasky, Jon Lewis, Matt Madden, Josh Neufeld, Joel Orff, Adam Sacks, Rick Smith, Dash Shaw, Jen Sorensen, Rich Tommaso, Robert Ullman, Sara Varon and others in its stable of creators.
Alternative Comics has also established a reputation as a distributor for Xeric Foundation award-winners, and has distributed books by Xeric winners Leela Corman, Derek Kirk Kim, Neufeld, Bishakh Som, Jen Sorensen, Karl Stevens, Lauren Weinstein, and many others.
