Alta de Lisboa

Alta de Lisboa is a Portuguese new urbanistic project, one of the biggest in Europe, localized at the north of Lisbon.

The Alta de Lisboa project includes:

  • Investment approximately 1,100,000,000 euros
  • 300 hectares of terrain
  • Identical population of Coimbra city
  • 2,500,000 m² of construction
  • 20,750 fractions
  • 80,000 habitants
  • 500,000 m² for the tertiary sector
  • 4 subway stations
  • 3 big green parks
  • 70 hectares of green zones
  • 20 sports facilities
  • 21 schools, occupation centers, free-time areas, retired people facilities,...
  • 1 super-police facility
  • 2 fireman facilities
  • 25 km of roads
  • Creation of 7,000 jobs
  • 4,000 families with new homes

A new community was created by the current and future habitants of Alta de Lisboa.
