Alt-N Technologies is a US-based software company specialising in telecommunications server software. It was founded in 1996, and has had international success with its products, which include:
- MDaemon - an e-mail server
- RelayFax - a fax server
- InterShield - an e-mail server appliance, acquired in 2005
Alt-N is also involved with the DKIM project, which aims to introduce a new standard for e-mail authentication.

Alt-N Technologies was founded in 1996 by Arvel Hathcock when he started selling MDaemon. At that time e-commerce was being developed but he frequently received checks by mail. As the company grew they changed locations and staff was brought on to help with documentation, management, programming and support.

Today, the company's flagship product, the Windows-based MDaemon email server, is used by businesses in over 90 countries and 20 languages having deployed millions of mailboxes worldwide. According to results from the monthly email server surveys conducted by SecuritySpace.com, it has become one of the most widely used email servers on the market.
