[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Tbilissi_10.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Tbilissi_10.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me or ask for help at Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. Thank you. -- Carnildo 13:19, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] your message on the Village Pump

Hi, I saw your message on the Village Pump regarding the admin situation at ka:. Just wanted to let you know that you should take your concern to meta: (and definitely do -- they will want to know about stuff like this, they're trying to help the smaller wikis grow of course). Try approaching a m:Steward if you can't find an appropriate page. Post to one (or six) of the mailing lists ( http://mail.wikimedia.org/ ). Whatever you do, I urge you to get attention paid to your community early to help it better survive. good luck! pfctdayelise (translate?) 11:58, 4 May 2006 (UTC)

Hey. I would really, really, really speak to a steward at meta:. Even if it appears it's all in English, they have a responsibility for all their "babies". And they want them all to succeed, not be dominated by single personalities. I think they can maybe at least give you some good advice, because I'm sure they have dealt with similar situations - all wikis started at 0! And they didn't all grow like English or German.
Consider posting to the Foundation-l mailing list. It includes "discussion of projects which don't already have a mailing list". Get some advice and go from there. Other ideas to consider: how can you encourage more people to edit generally? (A wiki won't survive with only two regular editors anyway!) Could you possibly approach a third party and ask them to act as an informal or even formal mediator? Just an idea. pfctdayelise (translate?) 15:30, 4 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Georgia moving poll voting

For the past 2 years, I felt so afraid that Georgia (country) will be moved to Georgia. By now, I feel sure that within the next few months, the voters who want it moved will likely soon outnumber those who don't by 10 voters. Now it's halfway there. Georgia guy 22:11, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hi

Hi Alsandro, I apologize for not replying to you earlier. I was inactive in Wikipedia for a while. I looked at the various designs for the Mainpage on the Georgian Wikipedia, and I like the hybrid English-German version (I believe it was the second choice). [edit] Watermark rendered by id=EnWpMpBook2

I'm afraid I have no idea. Which old discussion did I contribute to, that this is part of? --Quiddity·(talk) 18:56, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

Ahh. That's pretty much all I know I'm afraid. However, it's still linked to (at that same broken url) from MediaWiki:Common.css, so I'd suggest asking at that talk page (also thereby telling them that they need to fix/remove that line). Hope that helps :) --Quiddity·(talk) 20:25, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
Alex can you please review Ethnic cleansing of Georgians in Abkhazia? Thanks Ldingley 14:52, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
"lots of citations needed" Don’t you see enough citations? Do you see any citations for every sentence on Holocaust or Armenian Genocide? Do you deny the integrity of facts concerning ethnic cleansing? Please review some videos which are bellow. Do you want me to show you the horrific photographs of raped, butchered and tortured people in Sukhumi? I don’t think so.. Ldingley 15:12, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
I don't deny or accept anything. It's hard to be impartial in such matters, but for me to improve the credibility of the article more citations and sources are desirable (especially with the photos), otherwise they could be from anywhere (we know it's true, but others don't). The sources should be verifiable. I was born and raised in Sukhumi, so you don't need to prove it to me. - Alsandro · T · w:ka: Th · T 15:33, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
The photos are very well verified. There s a huge description about them which im not going to publish here due to authors requests, etc. Did you notice references bellow the article? Have you reviewed those sources? It’s surprising for me to see someone from Sukhumi jeopardizing the integrity of facts concerning abkhaz tragedy. I’ll monitor your edits. I don’t think you are very well familiar with the topic. Thanks anyway. Ldingley 18:33, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
