Alrewas (ol-ree-wos, al-) (grid reference SK170150) is a village approximately 5 miles north of Lichfield in the county of Staffordshire, England.

Alrewas has a population of just under 3000 and lies on the confluence of the Trent and Mersey Canal and the River Trent, and was previously the seat of Bishop of Lichfield.
It is part of the civil parish of Alrewas and Fradley. Situated close to Alrewas are the villages of Barton-under-Needwood, Fradley and Kings Bromley.
Alrewas is sited adjacent to the A38 road, which follows the line of Ryknild Street, a Roman road.
Sited just south of Alrewas is the National Memorial Arboretum and Whitemoor Haye.

Alrewas has five pubs: the Crown Inn, the William IV, the George and Dragon, the Old Boat (which is now technically a restaurant), and the ???.
Most of the village's shops are located along Main Street: Paul's Newsagents, a Co-op general store, and the Alrewas Fryer chip shop are clustered towards the A38 end of the village, opposite this cluster is Alrewas Cantonese takeaway.
Also on Main Street are: Coates' Butchers, Alrewas Pharmacy, Barkers grocery, several hairdressers, and the J.T. Leavsley petrol station.
There is a Post Office at the top of Post Office Road, next to the War Memorial.

There is a Methodist church on Post Office Road, opposite the Crown Inn.
There is also All Saints Anglican church, just off Church Lane, which dates from the 12th century.
