From the article: "Because the property Alpenglow sits on, and since it predates the creation of Chugach State Park, the resort is still here today."

I'm not at all sure what this sentence means. How does the property Alpenglow sits on cause the resort to still be around today? What is the relationship between Alpenglow and the state park? Can someone who knows more about the topic clarify? Kuribosshoe 06:34, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

I'm not sure myself, actually, but I think what it means is that it's inside the state park, but the fact that it was there before the park was established allows it to exist. I can't see how it's even remotely relevant in any case, so it's gone. —Zero Gravitas 18:01, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
