[edit] Principal's Message
I am very pleased to have the opportunity to be principal of Alpha Secondary School. While this is my first principalship, I have been a part of this community since September 2003 as vice principal. I have grown to have deep affection for this school, staff and its surrounding community. This is a community that takes cares of its individual members – that includes staff, students and families. At Alpha, families know their children will be challenged, encouraged and supported in their academic pursuits. As well, Alpha engages students in the community, to support the development of social responsibility.
I am proud of Alpha Secondary. We have a strong academic record, a broad co-curricular and extracurricular program, dedicated and well-qualified teachers, wonderful students and an involved and supportive parent community.
The greatest gift one can give to the community is to develop our youth. By doing so, we influence the future. It takes a community to raise a child. The Alpha community works hard to ensure that every student has the opportunity to reach his or her personal best.
