The Alpha Liberal Democratic Party is a Maltese political party founded on May 1, 2004 by Emmy Bezzina and John Żammit. The party promotes Liberalism, Democracy and Reformism.

The Alpha party holds that basic fundamental civil liberties are taken for granted within the European Union, hence their primary objective is to sanction divorce, cohabitation, illegitimate children, gay rights, abortion, religious freedom, and succession rights, amongst other liberties.

Emmy Bezzina and John Żammit contested the first European Parliament elections held in Malta in June, 2004, obtaining 756 first-count votes combined (0.3%).
