Almir Memić

Almir Memić (born March 3, 1962. in Sarajevo) is a football coach and former player from Bosnia-Herzegovina.

He started playing football in Famos Hrasnica. After that, he played in various clubs from Bosnia-Herzegovina and other parts of former Yugoslavia - Čelik Zenica, Borac Banja Luka, HNK Šibenik, FK Novi Sad, Mogren Budva and NK Pazinka. He also played in Turkey before he returned to Bosnia-Hezegovina. He played for FK Željezničar where he has collected 50 league appearances in two years. He has ended his playing career in 1998.

After that, he started working as a coach. He was a youth team coach, then an assistant coach and in March of 2006. he was promoted to the position of a head coach in FK Željezničar, after Ratko Ninković had resigned. Since he was just a replacement, he led the team only until the end of the season.
