Alma White College was founded in 1917 in Zarephath, New Jersey and closed in 1978. It was the college for the Pillar of Fire Church and was founded by Alma Bridwell White. The college's building was then occupied by the Zarephath Bible Institute; it suffered heavy damage in 1999 from flooding on the Raritan River, which crested at ten feet above its banks following more than ten inches of rain from Hurricane Floyd.
