[edit] Alliant?

I take it this should be "Allied" and it's just a stupid american mistake, or is the place owned by some corporation called "Alliant" like a burger joint.

The school is called Alliant not "allied," it refers to the University being created by the combining of two legacy institutions. It is a non-profit school and is not owned by a corporation. 66.27.119.28 08:07, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
