All That Remains is a metalcore band hailing from Massachusetts, USA. Originally established in 1998, the group is currently signed to Prosthetic Records. Vocalist Philip Labonte was previously singer for the metal band Shadows Fall before he was replaced by Brian Fair.

Originally formed as a side project while Phil Labonte was still with Shadows Fall, they became his main project after he left. The band's debut album, Behind Silence and Solitude, was released in March 2002, prompting DigitalMetal.com to hail the group as "one of the premier melodic death metal acts this side of the Atlantic." Since the release of the first album, All That Remains have toured the United States three times. These tours also including The Crown, Darkest Hour, GWAR, Dying Fetus, As I Lay Dying, Arch Enemy, and DragonForce. They were also a part of Ozzfest 2006.

This Darkened Heart, their second album was produced by Adam Dutkiewicz at Zing Studios, MA, some notable songs from this album were "Vicious Betrayal", "Passion", and "This Darkened Heart". Videos from this album were "This Darkened Heart" and "Tattered on My Sleeve", and "The Deepest Gray."

Their latest album entitled The Fall of Ideals, also produced by Adam Dutkiewicz, was released on July 11, 2006. The first single, which hit #75 on the Billboard Top 200, "This Calling," was released in two music video editions, one incorporating footage from "Saw III" (as it was the lead-off single on that soundtrack), both versions can be viewed on the band's MySpace page. Recently the band released their second video "The Air That I Breathe," which can be viewed here.

  • Josh Venn played only one gig with the band until he was kicked out as it was discovered that he had substance abuse issues.
  • Colin Conway, the drummer of Cannae replaced Shannon Lucas in the video for 'This Calling' as Lucas took a temporary leave of absence from the band.
  • Phil Labonte is featured on the albums Alive or Just Breathing and The End of Heartache by Killswitch Engage where he performs additional vocals on certain tracks, as well as Homecoming by The Autumn Offering, Makin' Love To A Murderer by Ligeia and Parallel Reflections by Flatlined.
  • Phil Labonte also tried out for the position of vocalist in Killswitch Engage. According to their DVD (Set This) World Ablaze, Labonte and Killswitch Engage's bassist Mike D'Antonio mentioned he was the "runner-up" to Killswitch Engage's current vocalist Howard Jones. Even though Jones received the job, Phil praises him as the better of the two.
  • Former member Matt Deis is currently the bassist for the band CKY.
  • Their song "Six" appears as a bonus track in the video game Guitar Hero II.
  • Oli Herbert was guitarist Mike Martin's former guitar teacher before joining All That Remains.
  • The song "This Calling" is the lead song for the horror movie Saw III
  • The track played before the band comes out on stage on recent tours is the theme from the popular Xbox title Halo.
  • Singer Phil Labonte has both nipples pierced.
