User talk:Alksub
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hi Alksub, and welcome to Wikipedia! I saw your edit pop up on Magical realism and thought I'd swing by and say hello. Here's the usual boilerplate--a few good links for newcomers:
- The Five Pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Editing, policy, conduct, and structure tutorial
- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Naming conventions
- Manual of Style
- If you're ready for the complete list of Wikipedia documentation, there's also Wikipedia:Topical index.
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page (below).
Anyway, happy editing, and have a good time! If there's ever anything I can help with (or if you just want to say hey) feel free to swing by my talk page! All the best, --Dvyost 05:28, 24 October 2005 (UTC)
PS Just looked over your other contribs. Anybody who'll write "pedantic edit" on one is my kind of editor... =)

Nya, y'beat me to the proposed deletion tag! Only question from me is, if it gets removed because the author doesn't want it there, does it warrant the tag's reinclusion? --Dane ~nya 06:40, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- No, if the author removes the tag it can't be put back. --Alksub 06:43, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Flicker.png)
Thanks for uploading Image:Flicker.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
