From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Alksuth was first mentioned by Dieck (Zöschen, Germany) in Haupt. Cat, p. 81, 1885 as U. scabra (: glabra) forma von Alksuth Hort. Described as having acute-rounded leaves, with a number of sometimes almost thread-like teeth. Considered by Green (1964) to be "possibly U. carpinifolia" (: minor subsp. minor).
