[edit] New votes on Jewish articles

Hi Alithien: The votes that were cast about the recent Jewish articles were stopped and relisted for a new ("2nd") vote, all can now be found at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jewish summer camps and local organizations. Best wishes. IZAK 07:04, 22 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] only talk pages

Hi I wonder if you also edit articles such as 1948 war , nakba and mufti or just participate in talk ? Zeq 10:15, 22 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 1948 Arab-Israeli War

I think the best way forward would be for you to translate your French version if you are willing. I'd be glad to help with the English and with additional sources where appropriate. --Ian Pitchford 12:29, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] I guess I do not understand your question

Of course the foundation governs and manages the projects.--Jimbo Wales 07:54, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thank you for getting involved with the issue of the train bombing

By Lehi (group)... I'm researching for further facts on the issue. Amoruso 09:51, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image license

Sorry, your question got lost on my Talk: page. The license states "This image originates from the Knesset website. The assessment is that it can be used in the entry which deals with the Knesset member displaying it, and in that entry only, under fairuse terms." Jayjg (talk) 17:33, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Katz etc

Hi, putting the views of Katz, Schechtman, etc, in a separate section would be an improvement but I don't think you will get the agreement of Amoruso or Shamir1 to do that. Also, even though it is true that very many Israeli's believe such things, they are not representative of Israeli official history. They represent the Revisionist Zionism-Herut view of history, which is quite different in many places from mainstream Israeli history. For example, mainstream Israeli historians have no difficulty in calling Deir Yassin a massacre and they don't support the myth that the Palestinians are recent immigrants. Examples of Israeli mainstream (not "new") historians are Anita Shapira, Avraham Sela, Yoav Gelber, Michael Oren, Yehoshua Porat, Shabtai Teveth, Aryeh Yitzhaki. --Zerotalk 13:14, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

Hi, I forgot to reply to your question of Dec 4. One interesting source on the 1948 war is the multi-volume work of Uri Milstein (now available in English but not cheap). If you have access to a research library or major public library, you should look at the academic journals. There are quite a few good ones on the middle east, such as Israel Studies, Middle East Journal, Journal of Israeli History, International Journal of Middle East Studies, Journal of Palestine Studies, etc. They are the best sources in the sense that they have the strictest quality control of any sources. --Zerotalk 08:54, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Qibya

I'm away from my books for about 6 days, but I'll look it up when I get back. I don't remember "Shoshana" off-hand. --Zerotalk 05:41, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Mediation

Hello! Sorry it couldnt work last time, any chance you might be interested in helping out with George Galloway? You can see the differences of edits in the history with what is at dispute. Thanks. --Shamir1 23:44, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
