User:Alipes

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Alipes, from the Latin for "wing-footed", or "of the winged feet". This epithet is most commonly used in reference to Mercury, the Roman god of travellers, thieves, and others who live by their wits. Called Hermes by the Greeks, he is my patron god.

I am a new user looking to learn, share and contribute. I am finding the Help Desk and associated newbie aids quite dauting. If anyone has any info they could enlighten me with about AOL IP address issues, setting up a user_talk page correctly, and anything else I seem to be doing incorrectly, I will be most appreciative.

Mille grazie.
