Alizai

Alizai is a village in Pakistan located in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas near the Afghan border.

The United States has maintained detention facilities in Alizai, Pakistan. It is rumored that this site has been used to torture prisoners.[1][2]

There are three places named Alizai in the Kurram Agency, but this article refers to Alizai in the Lower Kurram Agency. It is a Tehsil. It is occupied by the Turi Tribe (Shia 100 %). There are also Sunni Muslims in around Alizai. It is considered the most peaceful place in the Kurram Agency. The people of Alizai are highly educated and it is near the Afghan border.The people of Alizai are Well Educated.
