Alissos (Greek: Αλισσός) is a community in the prefecture of Achaia in Greece. The population is about 2,500 and 3,000. The community is divided into three sections, Ano Alissos which has an elevation of about 43 m at the centre, and Kato Alissos, an area where it has a beach and a campsite named Kato Alissos, and lies north of the ravine. The nearby communities are Kato Achaia in the west and is bordered by a river, and Kaminia to the northeast in the municipality of Vrachneika. Distance from Patras is 20 km SW, and Pyrgos is 78 km NE. The location is 38.1333 (38°8'8) N and the longitude is 21.5833 (21°35'17) E. Its postal code is 250 02 and the dialing code is +30-26930. Most of the phone numbers begin with 26930-7/ The highway is just 600 m north and the old one is about 700 m N.

Alissos has a square (plateia), a church, a school, a post office, no train station even it connects by rail. Residential houses are lined up from east to west with a length of about 1 km. The land in Kato Alissos (which includes Alissos Beach) is used for farming, but a few industrial buildings are founded. East of the community are hilly and are bounded with Kaminia. The southern part is bounded with the municipality of Olenia.
