Alisha (singer)

Alisha (born in Brooklyn, New York is an American singer, who had several hits in the 80's and 90's, including "Baby Talk", "Too Turned On", "All Night Passion", and "Bounce Back". She worked with producer Mark Berry on her first album in Vanguard Records and sold over 2 million records. Her second album was released on RCA Records in 1987 called "NightWalkin", which included the songs "Do You Dream About Me?" for the movie "Mannequin" and "Into My Secret" which reached #97 on the U.S. charts. Her third album was released on MCA Records in 1990 and was produced by Michael Jay. It included the title track which played on radio and dance clubs internationally as well as the single "Wrong Number". It included the background vocal talents of Martika and Donna Delory (Madonna's backup singer). In 1996 Alisha released the dance single "Wherever the Rhythm Takes Me" produced by Critique/Fever Records and in 1999 she was chosen to sing "You Wanna Be A Star" ,the title theme song for the Will Ferrell and Molly Shannon movie "Superstar". Most recently Alisha re-recorded her first single "All Night Passion" and released a high energy dance single. After taking some time off to have a family, Alisha has decided to return to singing and performing.
