Alise-Sainte-Reine is a French commune with a population 674 located in the centre of the département Côte-d'Or in the région of Bourgogne. It is believed to have been the site of the ancient city of Alesia, where Caesar defeated the Gauls under Vercingetorix in the Battle of Alesia.
