Alicia Rivera

Alicia Rivera is the name of a character in The Clique series series of books by Lisi Harrison. She is a member of "The Pretty Committee", better known as 'The Clique'. She is described as a sultry beauty with glossy black hair, big innocent brown eyes and a love for Ralph Lauren; she is richer than Massie Block and has a bigger house (and bigger boobs). In one of the books, she was described as "a hotter version of Penelope Cruz, with a better nose". She is of Spanish descent, but in one of the books, Massie confronts Alicia and tells her that she isn't as Spanish as she thinks she is and that Alicia's father isn't Antonio Rivera, but in fact Len Rivers. She is considered as the most beautiful girl at OCD and is usually made fun of by the other members of The Clique because of her big bust. She is also made fun of because she is "genetically incapable of speed." Alicia never runs, except for in one scene in the numerous book collection. She is the morning announcer at Octavian Country Day School.
She does not like her role as a "beta" to Massie Block, therefore, in Revenge of the Wannabes, tries to start her own clique and become the most popular "alpha." Though she is considered the most beautiful girl in OCD, Massie Block is still the most popular. She wants to be an anchorwoman when she grows up, and has a cousin by the name of Nina, who visits Alicia in Invasion of the Boy Snatchers. Nina becomes much better looking then the last time Massie saw her and steals things she likes... and The Clique members' boyfriends. The Clique is slowly falling apart because of Alicia's friendship with the beautiful airhead Olivia Ryan. She has large breasts, that she is embarrassed of, but is disgusted when people suggest that they are fake. Alicia has always had the potential to lead her own clique or step out of Massie's shadow though she has never had the courage to live up to it. Alicia has romantic interest in Josh Hotz, a boy who goes to Briarwood after he was expelled from Hotchkiss for pulling the fire alarm before a big test. But Claire kisses him, and for that, she needs revenge. Olivia and Alicia are called "The Twenty", because they are so beautiful, and when one of them walks by, guys go, "Hey! there's one-half of the twenty!!!!!!!!"
