Alice (Italian singer)

Alice (real name Carla Bissi, born September 26, 1954) is an Italian singer/songwriter, active since 1971.

In 1981 she won the Sanremo Music Festival with the song "Per Elisa".

Her collaborators include:
Franco Battiato (together they represented Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest 1984 with the song "I treni di Tozeur"), Steve Jansen and Richard Barbieri (former Japan), Dave Gregory (of XTC), John Hassell, Danny Thompson, Gavin Harrison (of Porcupine Tree), Jakko Jakszyk (of Level 42), Tim Bowness (of No-Man), Peter Hammill, Trey Gunn and Skye Edwards (former Morcheeba singer).
