Lt. Gen. Ali Kuli Khan Khattak was a former chief of military intelligence of the Pakistan Army who exposed the Pakistan coup attempt of 1995.

Senior most general in 1998 he was expected to be appointed Chief of Army Staff but was superseded by General Pervaiz Musharraf, for which he took retirement from the army.
